About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of gateautomatic.ae and to every order or quotation you place with Automatic Gates LLC, trading as Gate Automatic (we, us or our). Our address is Hor Al Anz, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under UAE consumer protection law.

Products and information

We supply gate motors, control boards, remote controls, photocells, flashing lights, GSM and smart home devices, intercoms, access control equipment and spare parts from a range of manufacturers.

We take care to describe products accurately. Descriptions, images, capacities and specifications are provided for guidance and may be updated by the manufacturer. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners, and showing them does not mean the brand endorses this website.

Stock is not guaranteed until we confirm your order.

Choosing the right product

The right opener depends on the type of gate, its weight, width, condition and how often it is used. You are responsible for giving us accurate details about your gate and site. If you are not sure, contact us before ordering and we will help you choose a suitable model. We cannot be responsible for a product ordered on incomplete or incorrect information.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED). Where Value Added Tax applies, it is charged at the rate set by UAE law. Prices and availability can change without notice, but the price confirmed in your order or quotation is the price you pay.

If we find a pricing or listing error, we will tell you and give you the choice to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout or in your quotation.

Orders and quotations

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email, phone or message, or when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order, for example because of stock, pricing errors, delivery limits or suspected misuse, and if we do we will refund any payment you made for it.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on them or, if none is stated, for a reasonable time while stock and prices remain unchanged.

Delivery

We deliver within the United Arab Emirates only. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout or in your quotation. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, and may be affected by stock, location and courier availability.

Please check your goods when they arrive and tell us promptly about any visible damage or missing items, with photos where possible, so that we can resolve it quickly. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered.

Installation and site requirements

Where we agree to install a product, the scope, price and timing will be confirmed in your quotation or order. For installation to go ahead, the gate must be in good mechanical condition and move freely by hand, and the site must have a suitable power supply and access. Extra work needed because of the condition of the gate or site may need an additional quotation.

If a product is installed by someone else, we are not responsible for the installation or for any fault caused by it.

Safety

Automatic gates and barriers move with force and can cause injury or damage if they are installed, used or maintained incorrectly. Products must be installed in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable regulations, with suitable safety devices such as photocells, safety edges and warning lights. Keep children and pets away from moving gates and have the system checked regularly.

A gate opener is not, by itself, a complete security system.

Warranty

Products supplied by Gate Automatic carry a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults in materials or workmanship. If a covered fault appears during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the product, or arrange the manufacturer service where that applies.

To make a claim, contact us with your order number or invoice and a description or photos of the fault. Please keep your invoice, as it is needed to make a claim.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised repair or modification, accidents, water or lightning damage, power surges, or normal wear of consumable parts such as batteries. The warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns and refunds

We do not accept returns or exchanges after delivery, so please check your order carefully before you buy. If you are unsure which product you need, contact us before ordering and we will help you choose.

This does not affect your legal rights. If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not match your order, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos, and we will resolve it in line with UAE consumer protection law by repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Faults that appear during the first 2 years are also covered by the warranty above.

Please inspect your goods on delivery and report any visible damage or missing items straight away. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, or in another way we agree with you, as soon as reasonably possible.

Cancellations

You can ask to cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us. We will cancel it if we have not yet shipped it or placed a special order for you.

Your account

You can create an account with your email or sign in with Google. Please give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend an account that is used unlawfully or in a way that harms the website or other customers.

Using this website

Please use the website lawfully and fairly. Do not attempt to interfere with its operation, access areas you are not authorised to use, copy content in bulk, or submit false enquiries or orders.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, design and images that we own, is protected by intellectual property law and may not be copied or reused without our permission. Product names, brands, logos and manufacturer images belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of use arising from the use of this website or our products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for the products concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law, including liability for fraud and your statutory consumer rights.

Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot, the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to refer a consumer complaint to the competent UAE consumer protection authority.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order applies to that order. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
